Furnish Studio in Rayong by 11.29 Studio

Furnish Studio is 11.29 Studio's first built milestone — an oil-painting art studio for Thai artist Bo Puntita, completed in Rayong in 2023. It gives new life to discarded, unusable concrete spacers, wrapping the 144 m² volume in bamboo batten walls that root the building in its context while allowing the ventilation an oil-painting studio depends on.

The project was designed and built for a client the team had followed closely over time — understanding not only her practice as an artist but the specific conditions of the site. It became the proof point for everything 11.29 Studio believes about Material Upcycling: that overlooked materials, given the right architectural language, can carry as much value as anything new.

Furnish Studio has since been featured internationally on ArchDaily and Designboom.
